About Us

Don and Jean Rose opened the legendary Shenanigans Sports Bar and Grill in the Empire Mall in 1986. At that time, only ten restaurants and bars were located on 41st street. Shenanigans was first located on the south side of the mall, and when Sears came in, the Bar moved to the north side where several expansions occurred. After a total of 29 years, Shenanigans moved to 1903 South Ellis Road on the corner of South Ellis Road and West 26th Street where it now calls the west side home. Shenanigans is one of the longest running sports bars in Sioux Falls.

Shenanigans is a great place to meet up with friends or family to watch a game. Shenanigans prides itself as the best place for all your sports viewing needs. If a sporting event is on TV or the Web, Shenanigans has it on one of its 36 big screen TVs.

Shenanigans has great food and a large craft beer selection. Families are welcome to come enjoy the comfortable atmosphere. Open year round featuring inside and outside seating as well as video lottery in a quiet private area.
